edTPA® Reviews

Statement by Kelly R. – edTPA® Early Childhood

I needed help with Task 3 as I was getting 9 each time I submitted the task. I thought I was doing it right as I got help from my professor. My mother paid for this service. I worked with Max for 2 weeks. We redid everything for Task 3, and I got a 15 on Task 3. What I liked the most about this program is I spent less time with Max than I did with my professor each time. Plus, I passed.

My name is Angelica Dominguez, and I am an international student in New York City. My passion has always been to teach. Teaching is in my blood. My grandmother was a teacher, and my mother is a teacher. Coming to America, I was very happy to pursue a career in teaching. However, for 1 year, I struggled with the edTPA. My friends were passing, and I was struggling. A lot had to do with the language barrier and also all the terms in the edTPA handbook. I spoke to Marty at the program and gave her my documents, and asked what the best approach is. She indicated that everything needed to be changed, and I do Package I. I signed up, and I worked with the team for 3 months. This program is very, very helpful. I do think everyone can pass the edTPA. They will provide good feedback and support, but you have to do the work. If you put the work in and use this help they have, it will get you to pass. I recommend this program.  â€‹

I got a conditional code E three times on all parts of Task 3 of elementary education edTPA. I asked teachers at my school to look at it to tell me why. I also went back to my college to ask my professor. They tell me what the issue is and I make changes. I resubmit it, and I still get a conditional code. I paid for ONE 30 minute session, and the tutor told me what the issues were. The feedback was in the same color ink as the student, and it was hard to determine the handwriting for the feedback I provided the students. I was told that the evaluation criteria were done correctly. I followed the suggestions, and I finally passed.

Finishing the special education edTPA was difficult, and I did not want to fail, so I brought few sessions to have a tutor look at my documents. I did not want to resubmit this as I would have to redo the entire task. I just did not want to take the risk. The edTPA tutor told me the rubrics that I would get like 1 or 2 and what I needed to do to get 3 or 4. I followed the tutor’s suggestions. In rubric 11, I got 4, and in rubric 14, I got 4. I got a three on rubrics 6, 7, and 8.  For the rest of the rubrics, I got a 2. So, I know these sessions helped out in passing.

My son struggled with the physical education edTPA. He submitted the edTPA 4 times, and he was falling short a few points. We resubmitted task 1. Then, we resubmitted Task 3 twice. After redoing task 1 and failing again, I got my son a tutor at this program. We did the comprehensive package as my son was very frustrated over not passing. The tutor looked at everything, and they decided to keep the lesson plan idea and videos but do major modifications to the rest of the documents, so they are different. My son got a 15 on the first and third tasks, but he got a conditional code on task 2. I was very disappointed, so I called the service. The tutor was very surprised, too, as his videos were good. The tutor asked my son to send everything he submitted for task 2, so the tutor can look at it again. My son had accidentally submitted the video that was 5 seconds longer and not the one that was cropped. We resubmitted the correct documents for Task 2, and he did get a 14. My experience here is that these people cared a lot about my son doing well.

I have been out of school for 5 years, and I had to do my edTPA to get my certification in California. I had no help, and after looking at the handbook, I knew I would not get this. I was not in college or the classroom. I had to get advice, and I did a 30 minutes session with the tutor. He explained everything about edTPA, and then I signed up for a fully comprehensive package. Excellent service. Very professional. Very prompt. The tutor walked me step by step, and I did not even look at the handbook.

What People Say

Taking the edtpa twice was not a good feeling. I am very glad to find this edtpa program.
